# Dual Operation Modes

PureCodeAI offers two distinct operation modes to suit different stages of your development workflow: **Normal Mode** and **Agent Mode**. These modes ensure flexibility and efficiency, making it easier to tailor your AI interactions to your specific needs.

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="Normal Mode" %}
Normal Mode is perfect for day-to-day coding tasks where you need quick assistance and code modifications. This mode is designed for rapid interaction, enabling you to work on coding and resolving issues with deep context-awareness.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Agent Mode" %}
Agent Mode is ideal for more in-depth tasks, such as planning, researching, and executing complex workflows. It enables the AI to take a step back, analyze the entire project, and suggest architectural changes or new implementations. The AI operates more like an assistant, helping you plan the next steps, make architectural decisions, and ultimately deliver these changes.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://purecodedocs.gitbook.io/docs/features/markdown.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
